Bo Corn, 73, of Rabun Gap, husband of Gwinda Justus Corn, died at his home in Rabun Gap on Monday night, July 3, 2017.
Born in Macon County, North Carolina, in August 1943, he was the son of the late Bonnie Corn Dean.
He was a Baptist by faith, a mechanical technician with the Hanes Co., a U.S. Air Force veteran and a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 15.
Bo was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Corn Dean, and by a grandson, James Ronald Corn III.
He is survived by his wife, Gwinda Justus Corn, of the home, one son Jamie Corn (Angie) of Demorest, two sisters, Linda Gregory of Franklin, North Carolina, and Brenda Roessler of Dallas, Georgia, and one granddaughter, Skyler Paislea.
Funeral services were held Thursday, July 6, 2017, at the Eastside Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home, with the Revs. Cale Stancil and Michael Rogers officiating. The service had full military honors by the D.A.V. Chapter 15. Visitation was held at the Chapel on Thursday, July 6, 2017, from 4-6 p.m., with services at 6 p.m. Cremation followed.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the D.A.V. Chapter 15, P.O. Box 1103, Clayton, Georgia 30525.
The family was at the home in Rabun Gap.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
