Barbara Stack Brundage, 82, of Tiger, passed away April 27, 2017.
Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and more. Her whole life was her family and friends. She graduated Murphy High School in 1952 and attended Georgia State University in Atlanta. She married her sweetheart, Charles Brundage, on July 3, 1953.
She was active in her church, Clayton Baptist, and her community through Homemaker’s, birthday club, W.O.M., and the hospital auxiliary. One of her biggest talents was being a hostess to friends and family at their beautiful home on Lake Burton. She was loved and will be terribly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Armalie Dawkins Stack; one brother, Billy Stack; and one grandchild, Susanne Noble.
Her survivors include her husband, Charles Brundage Jr.; her son, Charles “Ben” Brundage III (Mary), of Sugar Hill; two daughters, Pamela B. Noble (James) of Marietta, Susan C. Brundage of Lawrenceville; and four grandchildren, Jimmy Noble, Mallory Brundage, Caryss Brundage, Griffin Brundage.
The family received friends on Saturday, April 29, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at Beck Funeral Home.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 30, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Clayton Baptist Church, with the Rev. Joey Thompson officiating.
Interment followed the service at the Timpson Creek Presbyterian Cemetery, with the Rev. Joey Thompson officiating.
