Ola Jane Patterson McRee, 84, of Charlie Mountain Road, Clayton, Ga., died Monday, June 24, 2019 at her home.
Born in Rabun County August 3, 1934, she was the daughter of the late William Albert Patterson and Willie Crane Patterson. She was the wife of Jimmy Ford McRee. She was a manager of a restaurant in the food service industry and a homemaker and attended the Battle Branch Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Willie Patterson and by two sons, Tim Owens and Randy Owens, and by a brother, Dick Patterson.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Ford McRee of the home; by two sons, Tony Owens (Jerry) of Clayton, Ga. and Ricky Bradley (Sherrell) of Chester, S.C.; one daughter, Melony B. Hopper of Clayton, Ga.; and by two sisters, Opal Woodall of Clayton, Ga. and Oma Jean Phillips of Clayton, Ga. Sixteen grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were Friday, June 28, 2019 in the Eastside Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Rogers officiating. Burial was in the Frady Cemetery in the Lake Burton Community.
