Lynn Jiles Ward, 64, of Clayton, passed away July 15, 2017.
She was the daughter of the late Almon Jiles and Virginia Justus Ivester and worked as a librarian at North Georgia Technical College.
Lynn loved her job and was great at it. Her bubbly personality always made others smile and she always took the time to be friendly. She loved getting dressed up, no matter the occasion and had a great sense of style.
She loved people, especially her family, and was a loving mother to her children as well as her pets. She was also a loving grandmother to her four wonderful grandchildren.
Her parents preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Casey Ward, of Clayton; one daughter, Jekka Ward, of Rabun Gap; her brother, Duncan Jiles, of Clayton; two sisters, Vicki Jiles Waldrip, of Cornelia, Deborah Parker, of Demorest; and four grandchildren, Jiles Ward, Bailey Ward, Calley Ward and Dennie Kasey Hamby
The family received friends at the Beck Funeral Home on Thursday, July 20, 2017, from 6-8 p.m., with the Rev. Tim Hunnicutt officiating.
A funeral service was held Friday, July 21, 2017, in the chapel of the Beck Funeral Home at noon.
Interment followed the service at the Taylor’s Chapel Baptist Church.
