The Rev. Reginald R. Gunn, 75, of Tiger, died peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016.
He was born in Tifton to Helen and John S. Gunn, both deceased.
Reginald graduated from the University of Georgia, and Seabury Western Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois.
Reginald served in parishes in Cochran, Douglas, Albany, Savannah and Americus and in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
He was a member of the Rotary Club in Americus. Reginald was a member of the Clan Gunn Society of North America.
Reginald is survived by his wife Mary Luise A. Gunn of the home, his son, Richard S. Gunn of Alabel, his daughter, Heather G. Haskell (Glenn) of Garden City, one brother, Martin S. Gunn (Josephine) of Alexandria, and three grandchildren, Justin Gunn, Shelby Gunn and Ashley Walker.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the St. James Episcopal Church of Clayton. Another memorial service will be held at Calvary Episcopal Church in Americus. The date and time will be announced at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in his honor, to St. James Episcopal Church Clayton. The Sid Weber Memorial Cancer Fund or the Kids Backpack Program.
