Steve Masters, 58, of Rabun Gap, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Masters.
Mr. Masters is survived by his son, Matthew Masters; daughter, Crystal Masters, both of Clayton; parents, Thois and Sylvia Whitley Masters, Rabun Gap; brothers, Tony and Jennifer Masters, Ashland, Virginia, Tim and Debbie Masters, Marietta; nine nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mr. Masters was born Feb. 11, 1959, in Duluth. He was a 1977 graduate of Rabun County High School. Mr. Masters was a truck driver, and he was a member of the Baptist faith.
A memorial service was held Saturday, April 1, 2017, at Tiger Baptist Church, Tiger, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Tim Hunnicutt officiating.
