Ronald Hoyt Woodall, 69, of West Wolf Creek Road, Lakemont, died Feb. 15, 2017, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville.
Born in Rabun County on May 28, 1947, he was the son of the late Charles Hoyt Woodall and Ethel Inez Manley Woodall.
He was an Air National Guard veteran and a U.S. Army veteran, Vietnam era. He was a member of the Lakemont Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death besides his parents, Hoyt and Inez Woodall, and by a brother, Tommy Woodall.
He is survived by children Ricky and Karen, one brother, Michael Woodall of Lakemont, and five cousins.
Funeral services were Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Hunter Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jewell Gaines officiating. Burial followed in the Camp Creek Cemetery Lakemont with military honors
The body was at Hunter Funeral Home, where the family received friends Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. The family was at their respective residences.
